Macrame is a relatively easy material to work with, making it perfect for beginners.

Moreover, the finished product looks impressive and is eco-friendly, which is a significant added benefit.

1. Macrame Santa Gnome Ornament

The macrame Santa ornament is my absolute best-seller.

Everyone loved it, and I sold most of this design before Christmas.

I’m not going to lie, this design takes some time to make.

However, it looks fantastic on a Christmas tree or as a room decoration.

2. Macrame Candy Cane Ornament

The candy cane is one of the best-selling macrame Christmas ornaments.

Simple, yet traditional and festive-looking ornaments look good on almost every Christmas tree.

You can make it in different colors and sizes.

3 Macrame Christmas Tree Ornament With Colorful Beads

This time, while I was making these macrame Christmas tree ornaments, I decided to add a bit of color.

4 Beaded Christmas Star Ornament

These beaded Christmas ornaments with a boho vibe are easy to copy and sell.

You can use jute twine or baker’s string.

As you can see in the picture, I also used tiny beads to make small stars.

I think they’re cute when they’re tiny.

You can decorate your boho beaded stars by tying a bow using Christmas ribbon.

5. Macrame Snowflake Ornament

The macrame snowflake ornament was also popular last year.

Perhaps because it’s versatile and pairs well with other ornaments.

One of the snowflakes is identical to the one in the video.

However, to the second one, I added a bit of gold baker’s string for a slight shine accent.

There are many macrame snowflake tutorials with different patterns.

So, I recommend checking more YouTube videos.

6. Macrame Christmas Wreath

Next, we have a macrame Christmas wreath.

You can use one or 2 colors of macrame cord to make them.

I like them in a deep green color, because I can focus on decorating them using colorful beads and ribbons.

7. Boho Macrame Christmas Tree Ornaments

Who doesn’t like the boho aesthetic?

It pairs well with other Christmas decorations and farmhouse-style Christmas decor.

The left Christmas ornament is the same as the macrame Christmas tree I mentioned in the 3rd point.

NOTE: To make my Christmas tree ornament larger, 9 inches long, I used double the macrame cord. In other words, instead of 1 cord, I was using 2.

8. Beaded Christmas Wreath With A Bow

To create the beaded Christmas wreath, I threaded large wooden beads onto rustic jute wire.

Then I added one more piece of jute wine for hanging, and finished it with a red Christmas bow.

The larger one has 15 wooden beads (4 inches in diameter), and the smaller one has 12 (3.5 inches in diameter)

They match the rustic aesthetic.

9. Macrame Jingle Bell Ornament

I love how this 3D macrame jingle bell ornament is.

The good part is you don’t need a ring or beads to make it.

Instead of the macrame ball you see in the video, I used a mini bell that I bought at a local craft shop.

10. Macrame Reindeer Ornament

Last but not least, macrame reindeer ornament.

The most childish of all macrame Christmas ornaments.

I gave one of those to my cousin for her 2-year-old son. He was delighted!

In the video, a macrame bow is visible in front of the reindeer.

However, I decided to skip this part and attach a red pom pom.

Additionally, you can use different colors of macrame cord; natural and brown would be perfect.
